Chef station & BBQ accessories

What is a boss station and what do I need it for?

The Chefstation is a modular cutting board system with a wooden board, stainless steel console, and GN containers. You can prepare ingredients, dispose of cutting scraps, or pre-portion them – ideal for grills, kitchens, or catering.

Can I upgrade the console later?

Yes, that's exactly what the system is designed for. You can start with the solid base model and later add the stainless steel console and GN containers – depending on your needs.

What is the difference between CHEF BOARD and PITMASTER BOARD?

The CHEF'S BOARD is a compact board measuring 50×40 cm, ideal for the kitchen and grill. The PITMASTER BOARD is extra long (up to 130×40 cm) and is perfect for carving, arranging, and serving – for example, on a BBQ buffet.

How big should a BBQ board be?

For BBQs, we recommend boards measuring 50×40 cm or larger . They offer ample space for brisket, steaks, or pulled pork. If you want to add more space for serving or displaying, opt for XL boards measuring 80 cm or larger.

Is the board also available without a console?

Yes, all executive stations are also available as standalone boards. You can decide at any time whether you want to upgrade the console – maximum flexibility, without compromise.

Damascus knives & care

What is special about Damascus knives?

Damascus knives are made of multiple layers of steel, ensuring extreme sharpness, stability, and flexibility. The distinctive grain makes each knife unique. Ideal for precise cuts and the highest standards in the kitchen.

How do I properly care for a Damascus knife?

Rinse by hand after use, dry immediately, and never put it in the dishwasher. Neutral oils such as camellia oil are suitable for maintenance. Store the knife in a dry place—preferably on a magnetic block or in the leather sheath.

Can I sharpen a Damascus knife myself?

Yes, but only with high-quality whetstones and a lot of skill. Alternatively, you can have your knife professionally sharpened regularly. This will keep the blade permanently sharp and preserve its structure.

Why doesn't a Damascus knife fit on every board?

Damascus blades are very fine and react sensitively to hard surfaces. Cutting boards made of solid wood—e.g., oak or walnut—are particularly gentle on knives and optimally preserve their sharpness.

What does stainless Damascus steel mean?

Damascus steel consists of rust-resistant layers of stainless steel, making it easy to care for and durable. However, the knife should not be left in water and should always be thoroughly dried to ensure it stays in top condition.

Which Damascus knives are right for me?

A good knife is more than just a tool—it's a matter of precision, ergonomics, and the right application. Choosing the right knife type makes work easier, improves cutting results, and protects the material and your hand in the long run. Our hand-forged Cuttworxs Damascus knives are tailored to different tasks and needs. Below you'll find an overview of the most important blade shapes and their applications.

Chef's knife – For large cuts and precise power

The classic chef's knife is the most versatile tool in any kitchen. The long, slightly curved blade is ideal for cutting meat, fish, vegetables, or herbs. Thanks to its balanced and high stability, it masters both powerful and controlled cuts.

Knife block or individual set?

Anyone who performs multiple cutting tasks will benefit from a well-stocked set. Our knife blocks offer secure and stylish storage for a variety of blade shapes. Those seeking even more flexibility can create their own set: Choose your chef's board made of solid oak in your desired size and combine it with the matching Cuttworxs Damascus knife.

To the chef's board & damask knife set

All Cuttworxs Damascus knives are made of genuine Damascus steel with an elaborate grind – for long-lasting sharpness, perfect balance, and a distinctive blade pattern that makes each knife unique. The handles are made of fine woods, ergonomically shaped, and fit securely in the hand even during extended use.

About Damascus steel

Damascus knives are famous for their hardness, sharpness, and distinctive blade pattern. They are created by folding several layers of steel—each blade is unique with its own grain.

Limited Editions

Our Limited Editions are strictly limited and only available in small quantities. Each knife is carefully handcrafted—owning one will be a true collector's item for your kitchen or grill.

FlameWOOD® handles

The handles are made of patented FlameWOOD® heat-treated wood with intense grain and exceptional durability.

Note: The handles are vacuum-sealed with synthetic resin and are therefore water-resistant. Wet, manual cleaning is not a problem. However, prolonged immersion in water or cleaning in dishwashers should be avoided!

rosewood handles

Rosewood represents timeless elegance. Its warm, reddish tone and fine texture make it a popular classic for knife handles—sophisticated, robust, and durable.

Useful information & care

A Damascus knife will only last as long as you treat it. Cutting is best done on wooden or plastic boards, cleaning it by hand immediately after use, and regularly treating the handle with a little oil. This way, your knife will remain a faithful companion for years to come.

Edle Griffe – markant & zeitlos

Steel that carries stories. And writes history.

A masterpiece for your kitchen

A Cuttworxs Damascus knife is more than just a tool—it's a statement. Forged from fine steel layers and finished with handles that exude character, it combines precision with soul.

Each knife is unique

Whether Cu-Mai, TitanX, or classic Damascus steel, each knife bears a distinctive pattern created by hand. No two knives are alike, yet they all represent the same standard: uncompromising sharpness, perfect balance, and timeless beauty.

More than just cutting

A Damascus knife isn't just for everyday use—it turns every cut into an experience. Whether it's meat, fish, or vegetables, you'll slice like a pro with ease, elegance, and precision, and experience the true essence of craftsmanship.

Quality you can feel

Handcrafted in small batches. Developed with passion and the highest standards. Created to last for decades, not for storage. This isn't a mass-produced product—this is Cuttworxs.

Ready for the knife that stays?

Then discover the Damascus knives from Cuttworxs – made for people who appreciate style and perfection.

Natürlich gewachsen. Meisterhaft geformt.

Care instructions for Damascus knives

To ensure your Damascus knife retains its exceptional sharpness and beauty for a long time, you should only clean it by hand with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly immediately. Avoid dishwashers, aggressive cleaners, and prolonged soaking in water, as this can damage both the blade and handle. Store your knife in a dry and protected place—ideally in a knife rack, knife block, or with a blade guard. We recommend using a fine whetstone or water stone to resharpen it to preserve the delicate Damascus structure. With proper care, your knife will remain a reliable companion for life.
